With that being said, anything can happen when children are involved. Though children don’t often have accidents with sparklers, it can happen. The risk for injury involving fireworks is two and a half times higher for children between the ages of 10 and 14. Although it’s up to you, it may be best to keep sparklers in the hands of older guests — and if you do give them to young guests, watch them carefully.
